Get Over the “Under” Syndrome and Take Charge of Your Future

Ladies, it’s time to wake up and kiss goodbye the problem of "under syndrome". Ladies have lagged behind for many years yet their affairs are not being discussed. The average salaries that women earn are less than the men’s average, right? This means that the pension that ladies get is even less that of men. If I’m not wrong, this is a huge injustice that is bound to come to an end. Research has indicated that women may live longer than men do, therefore, it’s imperative that women plan for their pension well in advance.



The number of entrepreneur women is less than that of men. This cannot be disputed. However, what is the cause of this? It is the failure of women to close their pink purses to enable them save enough for capital purposes. Huge responsibilities await women and in case of closing the purse for pension and for many years to come, they make it wide open! Men are outshining women in almost all the spheres. But women should strive hard to liberate themselves.



You will note that by identifying what you’re passionate about doing and doing it with all your heart will help bring in more money that will offer you the liberation that you need. Many women lack financial education. Here, I’m not talking of the theoretical classroom education but about financial literacy that is not learnt in school. Women need to understand how to open their purse for income generating activities and close it for others that siphon money out. It is only through making the right decisions that the life of women will change.



If you’ve attended a session with a financial advisor, you’ll wish to have a translator in your midst. The terms used in the discussion don’t have anything to do with women! Since I was part of the discussion, I wondered why women can’t say it is enough and act towards investing for their future and pension. There can be as many women entrepreneurs that can engage in meaningful businesses. This is the best path to women’s liberation and financial security in pension years.



As women, we should learn to fall in love with our finances as this is the only way to achieve liberation. When we fall in love with our money we’ll be making decisions that’re not based on ignorance and fear but based on knowledge.



The rewards women get by being financially liberated go beyond the wildest of their imaginations. Many women don’t believe in their entrepreneur abilities, but truth has it that women are capable of doing well in business. The payoff women get by being entrepreneurs offer them the power to rise above the "under syndrome" that’s associated with them.



Come on women, get serious and take charge of your lives. Invest and join the league of powerful people. Liberate yourselves and live better life in your pension years. Let’s do it for the people we love, for fellow women and for ourselves. At last, we will celebrate the fruits of our struggle. Let’s wage war against all that make us underachievers.
